Who I am

I have been a practicing therapist for nearly 5 years. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor's degee in Psychology. I continued my education at Santa Clara University with a Master's degree in Counesling Psychology.

I have a background in working with domestic violence perpetrators, supporting them in their development of healthy relationships, communication skills and control over feelings and thoughts. I have also worked with the adolescent population for many years where I provided individual therapy, family therapy, and support to parents, on issues related to trauma (PTSD), low self-esteem, anger control, depression, anxiety, impulse control issues and high-risk concerns such as substance abuse and suicidal ideation. I currently work with couples, families, and individuals in my private practice.

My Philosophy

I firmly believe people have an ability to grow and develop into the people they wish to be, no matter their age or situation. I aim to build on the innate strengths people possess and support in recovering lost strength, build on inner resiliency and improve relationships with ourselves and others.
